Autocomplete sometimes doesn't

I have two sites in particular that require username and password.
Autocomplete doesn't respond on these sites. Help tells me how autocomplete
works and how to delete one or all entries, but not how to manually trigger
autocomplete. Anyone else see this??

Ed,
Some secure sites (eg. banking sites) don't allow password caching.

Or if you checked the "Don't remember" box for that site at some point, try
this...

Clearing all passwords should reset the "Save Password" option. IE> Tools>
Options> Content> Autocomplete> Clear Passwords.

Protected Storage PassView from http://www.webattack.com/get/pspv.shtml will
help you recover other cached passwords *before* you clear all passwords.

Thanks for the response...It is banks that are the problem. This is a recent
clean install of XP Pro and I thought they worked before, but I'm sure the
box has not popped since the clean install. Maybe my memory is failing,
along with other assorted parts (me...not the computer!), Thanks again.

I just rechecked the autocomplete box and all was/is OK. I was asked for passwords again
I do like that little recover password ditty though
Thank
Joe

Does anyone know how to undo the "don't remember" box for
a password at a specific site without having to reset all
the passwords?
(Please also reply to me personally, since I don't know
how to get this system to notify me of replies)
