AutoComplete for email addresses won't work in Outlook 2003

I have AutoComplete turned on in my Outlook 2003. It will only auto complete
if I have completely typed the address in once since I started the program.
It offers no options even if the addresses are in the address book. Is there
a way to make the program always produce a drop down list when you start
typing in the To line?

Autocompletion has no connection with your Contacts at all. Its cache
contains addresses that you've previously resolved. What you're describing
(autocompletion starting over again from scratch each time you start
Outlook) is a symptom of a damaged profile. Try creating a new profile in
Control Panel's Mail applet.
