AutoComplete doesn't remember email addressess

Although the "Suggest names" box in email advanced options has been ticked
AutoComplete only remembers addressess whilst it is open, once I close
Outlook and then re-open it AutoComplete doesn't work and I have to re-input
the names

If anyone has had this problem I would appreciate some guidance

Thanks

Usually means the connection between your profile and the autocompletion
cache (NK2 file) is corrupt. You'll probably have to create a new profile.

Thanks Russ - If I rename the NK2 file will that regenerate the file?

OK, so I should just create a new profile in Control Panel > Mail and get
outlook to open the new profile on startup.

Russ, I had the same problem, thank you for the solution. Question: how do I
tell the new mail profile to "see" the email in the other profile?

Just use the same Outlook data file that the other profile was using.

Your must first know the name and location of that file.
Then just open it in Outlook (File > Open > Outlook Data File...)
then set it to be your default folder (File > Data File Management...)
