AutoComplete does not work

When I go to Tool > Internet Options > Content > AutoComplete, all
boxes are checked, leading me to believe that AutoComplete will work.
But it is not saving any form or username/password information that I
type in. I have had this problem for a few weeks (after my PC was
re-imaged). IE prompts me for saving passwords, and even if I answer
'Yes,' it still will not save the info. Is there a registry setting
that overrides the IE settings somewhere? Thanks.

Maybe I should clarify with what I've done thus far:
1. Deleted all cookies/temporary internet files
2. Re-registered the RSABase.dll
3. Un-checking and re-checking the options in the AutoComplete section
4. Clearing all saved forms and passwords.

Bit of a follow-up. I also noticed that when I get a sign-in dialog
box that asks for a username/password, when I check the "Save password
in password list" checkbox, that information is also not saved. These
issues are becoming increasingly annoying, so any suggestions would be
appreciated. Thanks.
