I sent up my autoarchive to delete messages in assigned folders every 5 days.
Just stopped working about a month ago for no reason.

Any one know why

Undoubtably there's a reason. What version of Outlook, for starters? What
type of account?

Autoarchiving uses the modified date, not the received or sent date. If
you move items between folders then the modified date got changed.

Outlook XP, exchange client on a network and not using a .pst file

Since you're using Exchange, you're first solution attempt would be to speak
with your Exchange admins. Add the "Modified Dat" column to the display of
the folder you want archived and see if the date is older or newer than your
archive criteria.

Even when working with exchange: archiving means the use of pst files!
Check your archive properties and you will find a pst file. I'm
affraid this pst file is 2GB and that's a problem using OL2000. Are
you using that version?
