AutoArchive settings

In the AutoArchive options, there are checkboxes to archive and delete. They
can both be selected. I don't understand this, because it seems to me like
it's one or the other, but not both. I don't want my e-mail to be deleted.
I'm trying to figure out the best setting.

The "Delete" checkbox is for expired messages, which are distinct from aged
messages. Deleting expired items and moving older items are unrelated
operations, both of which AutoArchive will perform. Consequently you get to
choose both or either.
