I recently 'clicked on' agreed to the automatic download
of what appeared to be a Windows XP update, I'm not sure
which files were installed as it never tells you.
Since the installation I have now noticed that whenever I
play a game, the system freezes for a couple seconds and
then jumps forward to catch up before freezing again
several seconds later. This is happening on all games I
have tried since the update several days ago. It is clear
to me that it must be something to do with the update as
things were fine beforehand.
I have no idea on how I am going to get round this problem.
Please help if you have some experience with regards to
this problem.
