auto text entry

Excel on a one machine appears to have an auto text type entry but i dont
know where it is or how to remove it

Whenever I type BRD the full name of the company appears in the cell. it is
not selecting from entered text as this happens in every new workbook.

Any suggestions please
 
hi,
just a guess. Spelling?
Tools>options>spelling>Auto correct option.
review list for BRD
or Tools>options>spelling.
check Suggest from main dictionary only.
