Hello,

I am trying to get a home intranet sorted for our shared house, mainly so we
can prompt people to turn off the network when the last person logs off.

With this in mind how do I create an automatic launch of internet explorer,
using the specific intranet homepage, when i start up or log onto a networked
machine.

The majority of the house uses Windows XP Professional, the network uses XP
Home [not our choice :-(].

Any help would be appreciated

Hello,

There are many ways to do this. One possible way is to simply drop the html
page into the following folder...

C:\Documents and Settings\username\Start Menu\Programs\Startup

Replace username with the name of the account in question.

Thanks,

John
