auto play

Hi all, Amate of mine has xp home and he has noticed that he no longer gets
an on screen prompt come up when he plugs his usb camera in, also neither of
his cd or dvd drives no longer auto play.
We have checked in regedit @
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Cdrom] and the value is
set to (1).
Do not know what to look for next so any ideas would be most welcomed.

Hi, Phil.

Could be any of a whole bag of 'maybes'. Bring up Help and Support while
on-line and type in the search box, autoplay. At the bottom select Microsoft
Knowledge Base. I reckon you'll get over a dozen ideas.
