Auto play

I have a dvd rw that I replaced with a dvd dl burner. I then took my old dvd
burner and replaced my cd rom drive. The problem is it will not autoplay.
I've tried cd's and dvd's. I've looked at the properties and it looks fine.
My old cd rom did this fine and so does my new dvd dl drive. Any ideas. I'm
running xp home sp2.

Open My Computer or Explorer
Highlight the CD-ROM drive, right click the CD-ROM drive and click
properties.
Click the AutoPlay tab. Within this section you will be able to specify all
Windows AutoPlay features.

If the previous doesn't work download and run TweakUI, one of the MS
powertoys. Get it from here:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/downloads/powertoys.asp

Expand the My Computer | Autoplay section. Make sure autoplay is
enabled on that particular drive letter in the Drives section and both
settings are marked for Enable in the Types section.

If you cant fix autoplay, might try a util to force autoplay:
http://www.cd-eject-tool.com/

Sometimes needed for driver installs that require autoplay.
