auto login script for null modem serial cable direct connection

I have set up a null modem serial cable direct connect to a solaris PPP
server from XP.
If I login manually I can set up the connection successfully.
But I cannot find a way to use auto login script as the way I did in win 2k.
Seems the "run script" option is removed from the direct connection
configuration.
Are there anyone who can tell me how to configure auto login for direct
connection on Windows XP?

dialup connection can set up auto login script, but I failed to let dialup
connection recognize the serial cable null modem as a working modem device
on Windows XP...
