Auto Dialer

R

Robbie

I have recently reformatted a PC and re-installed Office 2000 with Microsoft
Outlook 2002.

Previously I was able to use the auto dialer feature from contacts to dial
out telephone calls. This no longer works and comes up with an error,

When I try to check the line from within Outlook it reports.

AN INTERNAL ERROR OCCURRED IN THE AUTOMATIC DIALER.

The modem does not appear in the list of available lines only IPCONF LINE
and H323 Line.

Apart from this the modem appears to work OK. It does dial out and the
telephone attached to it also works through the modem.

I have tried un-installing the modem and re-installing it.

I would appreciate any help in resolving this. Thank you.

Hi Robert,
if you get the The modem does not appear in the list of available lines only
IPCONF LINE
and H323 Line message, you have to set your modem line to dial.
Please configure it
start > run > dialer.exe
there you have the chance to set your line to dial out!
