Auto dial internet

Hi,

I am using Internet Explorer 6. I have my browser setup to "Always
dial my default connection", but when I double click on the Internet
Explorer icon, it doesn't dial. It just tells me it can't find my
default home page and to either work offline or to try again.

When I press the try again button, I just get an error page.

Outlook Express will dial when I start it, but Internet Explorer
doesn't.

Any ideas?

Do you have the Google toolbar installed and active? If so, simply turning
off the google toolbar should fix the problem. I have reported this problem
to Google, but many more should as well so that Google learns it is a
widespread issue and not a sporadic issue.

I had exactly the same problem this morning, and David's fix of turning off the Google toolbar worked. I'm still confused about how this was working fine one day and then not the next even though nothing has changed (to my knowledge).
