Auto configure of Network printers

When a client establishes a connection with remote desktop, the local printers are automatically made available for printing. The network printer I would ideally like to print to does not automatically install. Is there a way of making a network printer available for printing? Client is running Windows XP

What's the printer? Won't work with USB attached ones, AFAIK -
