How can I stop Outlook from writing "truly" when I type "Yours"?

I would never, EVER say "yours truly". I usually just type Yours, or for
more formal correspondence I would use faithfully/sincerely depending on the
name.

But Outlook insists on this foul phrase and I can find no way to stop it,
even though I have turned off all Auto Correct options.

it's not one of the autocomplete options AFAIK - that will convert your to
you're though.

what version of outlook and if 2003 or earlier, are you using word as your
editor?

Hi Diane,

Thank you for your reply.
what version of outlook and if 2003 or earlier, are you using word as your
editor?

I am using Outlook 2003 SP 2, part of Microsoft Office Professional Edition
2003.

I don't think I am using Word as my editor. I have set everything to Plain
Text wherever possible since I don't like HTML or Rich Text emails.
