auto complete

I have a problem with autocomplete. When I change an email address for a
contact, the old email address comes up when I address my eamil. I have
deleted the old email address from the contact. How do I fix this

Is this autocomplete in a Microsoft Access database, such as a Combo
Box control? Or in Outlook? If the latter, please scroll down and find
one of the Outlook newsgroups - the vexing Microsoft Help is dumping
you into a Microsoft Access newsgroup.
