Have WinXP SP2 w/IE 6.029 SP2, Intel P4 w/3,0ghz, 512MB Ram.
Auto-complete feature (under Tools, Internet Options, Content, Peronsal
Information, Auto-Complete) is not saving my passwords. It seems to be okay
with saving my user names, and some info for forms, and pormpting me to save
passwords, however, the passwords are not being saved. I have cleared,
re-entered the info when I am sites that require it, however, still the same
problem. Have repated this over and over. Have cleared history (set at 0),
cookies, temp internet files, cache. the works!!

Nothing works -- PLEASE HELP!! All windows updates are complete, use Norton
Internet Secruity 2004 (clean PC)., don't download junk of aANY KIND.

Hi Jan!
I did everything in the link: Safely Delete the Temporary Internet Files,
http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/delcache.htm
as you suggested, and I also turned AutoComplete off, restarted, turned it
back on.

Whetther it was one or both things, IT WORKED!!!

THANKS SO VERY MUCH FOR YOUR HELP -- it was so frustrating not having
auto-complete working -- once again, a big THANK YOU!
