Auto check email in Outlook XP?

I don't see an option to have Outlook XP check for mail every so often
as Outlook Express does. I see the new mail notification option, but I
don't want to have to click send/receive every time. Does such an
option exist in Outlook XP? Thanks.

Outlook 2002 does have this setting but you have to hunt for it.
Tools->Send/Receive->Send/receive Settings->Edit Send/Receive Settings.
Check the option to have it poll for mail at your preferred interval and
also check the box to send immediately if this is what you want.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.
