Auto Advance on sound ending.

Is there a way to advance a slide based on the ending of a sound file? I
want to associate a different file with each slide. I can determine the
length of each .mp3 file and manually enter this timing, but would like to
advance the slide based on the event of the slides sound inserted file
finishing. Would this require a macro and some VB code? I've reviewed the
documentation, searched through this forum and tried multiple different
configuration options within ppt and can't find a solution.
Thank you,
Howard

John,

Thank you for getting back to me. I wish all problems had this simple a
solution! I did notice that the slide show skips my last slide which lacks
inserted sound. Is this standard behavior?

Appreciate your help.

I'm guessing that you applied the auto advance to ALL slides including the
last? If you do this it will advance straight away ie it will be skipped!

Select just that slide and set auto advance to off > DON'T click apply to all.
