When I used to use outlook express, I could begin typing
someone's name in the "to" field and it would
automatically finish their name for me. Can I do this in
Outlook 2000

*** Problem Description ***
AutoComplete is a feature of Internet Explorer, and Outlook Express, and is
not
available in Outlook 2000. Oultook 2000 uses a method called Name
Resolution. This
feature of Outlook 2000 resolves the name you are typing in, or will search
through
your contacts list to provide you with the correct email friendly name. To
use this
feature plese follow the steps listed below:

1. Open Outlook 2000

2. Open a new email message.

3. Type in the first 3 letters of an email address that is stored in one of
your
contacts.

4. On the button bar you should see a button that looks like a person with a
red
check beside him. Clicking this button will force the name resolution, or
you can
click on "Tool", and choose "Check Name".
