Authentication Box appears for domain users

T

Tom.

Hi Everyone,

I have migrated a number of users to a new domain which we have an Exchange
2007 server installed.

I am under the impression that when a user is logged intot he domain, the
authentication for Microsoft Exchange connections would be passed through the
domain credentials.

I have a popup box asking for authentication credentials for the RPC/HTTPs
configuration. The funny thing is I have the "On Fast Networks" option in the
Exchange Proxy disabled. If I disable both Fast and Slow networks to use
HTTP first, i still get this box pop up.

Has anyone seen this before?

Is Exchange and the users in the same domain or do you have two domains
(e.g. users in one and exchange in a resource domain)?
