audio question

How can I make my audio (music) volume lower when a subject is talking and
increase when a subject stops talking? I know you can adjust the volume
control, but how do I make my audio do this automatically so when I record my
final product, my audio will decrease and increase in volume where I want it
to? Any ideas?
