How to set different audio levels for different frames

Hello,
I would like that in some parts of my movie the music will be dominant
whereas in other parts of the movie, the video sound will be heard. In other
words, I'm trying to set a different volume balance (between audio and video)
for different parts of my movie. In order to do that I tried to use the "set
audio levels" icon, and for some reason it changes the volume of all frames,
and not only the frame I'm choosing.
Can some one help me with that?
Thanks a lot,
Liat.

In addition to the overall mix, right click on any specific audio clip... on
the audio/music track or the video's audio... and use the volume adjustment
feature.

===================================
In Timeline view...Split the Audio file on each
side of the portion where you wish to alter the
volume. Then...right click the clip and choose...
Volume...now just drag the slider to make your
adjustment. (This works for video files also)

Info on splitting:

Drag the video/audio clip to the
Timeline.

Play the video/audio by clicking the
"Play" button under the view screen.

You will see the Playback Indicator
(vertical line) advancing across the
timeline.

Click the "Pause" button at the point
where you wish to split and type...
Ctrl+L or click the "Split" button at the
bottom of the view screen.
(you can also make adjustments by
dragging the Playback Indicator)
