Audio Not Playing/Copying?

I'm making a video using recorded footage from World of Warcraft, and I'd
like to add an MP3 tune to it.

I import the audio as necessary and then add it into the timeline, but when
I create the actual video, it does not play the audio.

Could I get some assistance, please? Thanks in advance.

You might want to convert the audio to wma format. MM doesn't like mp3s.

Is there a freeware MP3 --> WMA conversion program?

Here are my notes about the subject.... a few options.

- the Audio Converter in the Plus pack

- Movie Maker (version 1 or 2) - put the MP3 on the audio track of the
timeline without a video track and save the Movie - it'll save it as a WMA
file

- Windows Media Encoder

- Play it in any player and capture it to MM2 as a narration file... it'll
be a high quality WMA.
