Audio Files Properties Question

A question about Audio files, Properties & Editing ?

Moviemaker seems to retain Audio File properties in Open Projects even
after they are deleted from the project.

If a deleted Audio File is edited ( duration changed ) and then
reimported into the Open Project it thinks it has the original
Duration. e.g. if the original file was 2mins long and then edited to 1
min and reimpoted, Moviemaker will display it as a 2Min file on the
Timeline.

Is there any way to get Moviemaker to refresh/update its info on files
in Open Projects?

One way to overcome this is to delete the file, save the Project, open
a New Project then reopen the old project and then reimport the file.

I have had this experience before as well and closing and reopening as you
said does the trick.
It doesn't seem to happen often, at least not for me, but it is apparently
an "occasional" glitch.
