Audio Device Performance?

I am trying to change the Hardware Acceleration on my sound device to the
Basic setting. However, the slider keeps reverting to the default (Full
acceleration) option. How do I change the default acceleration to Basic, and
make it stay?

I would contact the manufacturer of your sound device, since they
provided the software. Find their web site with a web search (e.g.,
Google) and look for the section for technical support.
