Audio CD Playback

Has anyone ever experienced it where Windows Media Player
will play a cd but it will be like it is on fast forward.
I started having the problem in Media Player 7, but I
updated to 9 buit that didn't work. I uninstalled and
reinstalled and am still getting the same result. I have
tested other software and they work fine I also tried a
different drive and had the same results. any help would
be appreciated.

Is WMP playing other media at the right speed?
Under WMP's Tools:Optionsevices, what playback method are you using
against that CD drive?
