attempting to schedule a "Meeting"

John Hauber

When i attempt to schedule an online meeting using
Netmeeting i have the following issues. The recepient of
the email only receives an email stating a time and date
scheduled. It doesn't give them a chance to Accept, Reject
or Pend the meeting. Also, it won't automatically open up
Netmeeting. The Sender receives a timely reminder that
they have a meeting scheduled and opens Netmeeting
automatically. We are running our Internet Mail through
our ISP and not running a local Exchange Server. If it is
related, the Voting buttons won't work either. Thanks, john

Outlook relies on forms to use the voting and appointment features. These
forms require RTF or Rich Text Format to function correctly. If your
recipients cannot receive messages from you in RTF, they will not see these
features in your messages. It's possible your ISP, their ISP, or one of the
SMTP hops between you is stripping this RTF formatting from your messages.
If you have these people in your Contacts folder, you can also right click
their address in the COntact item to see if you have any special sending
options set for them.

I don't know what version of Outlook you're using, but it's also possible
you have the option set to convert messages to Internet recipients set
differently in Tools | Options | Mail Format | Internet Format...
