Attachments

Hi There,

I have a friend Called X, who has Office Xp Version
10.4219.4219 Sp2. Os is Win 98 SE.
X can email me and other people a word and excel document
ok as an attachment, but if he emails one particular
person, (Y), the attachments are garbled and renamed to
winmail.dat. Y is using Eudora Pro.
The weird thing is, I can email Y the same attachments and
he receives them okay.
If X sends me the emails and I fwd them to Y, Y gets them
okay. It is just direct from X to Y.
What could be wrong and at who's end ?

Tell your Friend X to stop sending in Rich-Text Format and to use HTML
format instead.

That was the first thing I checked but the setting is
already on HTML.
