Attachments not accessible

My incoming emails are missing attached Word files (sometimes). The
Properties data show that the attachment is there, but there's no attachment.
My email host provider says it's not their fault. I tried forwarding the
email to my other email accounts, like Yahoo, but no luck. This has only been
happening for about one month and has happened with emails from multiple
people at one of my customers, and also with one email from someone else. But
I receive the majority of my attachments. I'm using Outlook Express 2000.

Outlook Express is part of Internet Explorer and not part of Microsoft
Office. This group supports Outlook, not Outlook Express.

There is no Outlook Express 2000, however there is Outlook 2000.

Please clarify what you use. If you're not sure, click on Help and scroll to
About to find out.

Go to file, properties, details, message source and see if there is
something called winmail.dat in the source. If so, tell people to resend
using plain text format.
