Attachments disappearing on Vista download

Emails I see on my isp's web server has attachments, yet when I download them
into Windows Mail under Vista, the attachments disappear.

How can I get them back??

Any help appreciated

I know it is a lot of trouble, but did you explore the various options/settings?
Try Tools > Options > Security > uncheck "Do not allow attachments..." and
"Block images..."
