I have sent an email to my brother. He told me that there was an attachment
with a CVP (I think) extension. When he clicked on it he could see my
address details as well as all emails we exchanged over the last few months.

What happened? I do not want the same thing to happen to my other
recipients or them to be sent a copy of my emails to other people. Can
someone please advise?

Many Thanks.

What your brother probably got was a vCard .vcf file with your contact information, which you had set up to be sent as part of your email signature in Tools | OPtions | Mail Format.
