Attachment Problem

One of are users cannot open any attachment with the name redline.doc, she
can open all other attachments. If the person sends her the same attachment
named something else it opens fine. It does not matter who sends her the
attachment, if it has that name it will not open she gets the following
error msg:

Cannot create file: Redline.doc. Right-click the folder you want to create
the file in, and then click Properties in the shortcut menu to check
permissions

I have read microsoft article 296416, and followed the suggestions. Problem
still exists. Deleted the frmcache.dat as well, did a detect and repair on
office. User can log into another machine, and all works fine. She is not
using MSWord as her email editor. Ordinarily we would rebuild her PC, but
this has happened 3 times before with different users.

Empty the OutlookSecureTempFolder and try again. The same is achieved by
emptying the Temporary Internet Files

Nope, not really. You can set it yourself in Internet Options for the total
Temporary Internet Files Folder. Old items wil be deleted when space runs
out.
