Attached to the Theme, But Not

I am creating a PPT 2007 template. I have carefully followed the Themes SDK.
The bullets in my master slide content placeholder are absolutely reading
from Accent 1 in my theme...to the best of my understanding. When I swap
themes (autopreview, or full on) the bullet color keeps reading the Accent 1
color from my custom theme. All other elements change. I'm wondering if this
could be due to the userDrawn issue, but autoshapes on master in my theme
swap to the new theme fine. Could it be the bullet symbol type, or something
else? Please advise if you know. Thank you.

I have resloved this issue.

How did you resolve it? Maybe other users can learn from your way to do it.

Best regards,
Ute

It seems multiple built in Themes use varying tones of what I'll call Orange
for the Accent color looked to by bullets, and they also happen to in my
custom theme refered to in this post. I would change the theme, but my
bullets seemed to be direct formatted, because they stayed Orange, while
everything else updated to reflect the new theme. When I finally looked at
the RGB settings for the accent driving my bullets, I found that the theme
was driving the bullet colors, and that it had indeed switched, just to a
different "Orange." I did discover along the way that I'd edited the bulleted
text placeholder on my Title and Content Layout, instead of on the master, so
it was severed from the master. I replaced it with a healthy one from a blank
file in order to reconnect it.
