ATI Radeon Capture - Did they fix sync problems yet?

Jim

I have an older ATI 128 All in Wonder card, and the captures were
never useable due to audio and video being out of sync on any captures
over a few minutes in duration. The longer the capture, the greater
the sync disparity.

Now I'm in the market for a new similar card, and am wondering if ATI
ever got this problem fixed or is it still screwed up on say a full
length movie capture?

Can anyone else recommend a similar card that actully works as it's
supposed to and keeps the audio and video in sync during capture,
yet has the features of the ATI AIW card w/tuner, etc.

I have no problem with a AIW9000Pro PAL version and a very good TV signal...
I think one of the keys are the good TV signal...
I did some early testing with an airelantenna and with that one the picture
was so-so and the recordings often had some audio/video glitches. I then
hooked it to our cable network antenna and then all was fine, crisp picture
and very good recordings.
