ATi Overdrive Tab missing after driver update - How to bring it back?

I used ATi Catalyst 3.7, 3.8 and Omega Catalyst 3.7 on my new X800 Pro and
always had the overdrive tab working. Then I installed Omega Catalyst 3.8
and the overdrive tab is gone. This is particularly bad, as I like to check
the temperature of my GPU once in a while.
First I thought it were the drivers that changed it, but I uninstalled them
and reinstalled the others, but it didn't help. Is there a way to enable the
Overdrive tab manually through the registry or otherwise?

Thanks in advance,

Glzmo

I reinstalled the drivers a few times and finally the overdrive tab
returned. I wonder what causes it to disappear, though.

It was windows installing an older version of your graphic drivers upon
restarting. You need to completely remove all graphic drivers from your pc
before you update to elimante the problem! Dont worry its happened to me
several times. LOL
