I have a Microsoft Internet keyboard. I am trying to assign the option of
having the screensaver activate immediately to one of the keys (it worked on
my old hard drive - starting fresh I can't seem to get the right commmand
line). First of all I can't find any scrnsave.exe in my system32 folder. I
must be looking for the wrong file. ??
Simply put I'd like to know the command line for activating the default
screensaver so that I can assign it to the appropriate key. The command line
I'm trying to use is C:\WINDOWS\system32\scrnsave.scr within WindowsXP Pro
which I think should activate the "default" screensaver. All that happens
is the screen goes black. No screensaver kicks in at all.
It worked on my old hard drive darn it! But it was an older version of the
software for Microsoft keyboard. But I think it should work.
I'd appreciate some advice.
