Where in the registry does Windows store assigned shortcut keys (key
combinations that the user assigns to start applications)?

I suspect you mean Shortcut Keys assigned to actual .LNK files. And
when stored on the Desktop or a few other select locations (eg \Start
Menu\). They are actually stored in the .LNK files, not the registry.
