assign an IRQ to AGP slot

Good day to everybody. I have a problem when playing 3d
games, coz it freezes/hangs my system.
I contacted the video card manufacturer and they told me
to assign a single IRQ to the AGP slot. There are 2 other
devices sharing my IRQ slot
I'd like to know how it can be done.
I'm running an athlon 64 on Asus k8v deluxe with MSI
fx5200 vtd128. The BIOS is ACPI enabled and my Plug n
play O/S is set to no.
I have read some articles in the KB and it says that I
have to reinstall winxp and manually configure the IRQ. I
just like to know if there are other ways and how

Look at the motherboard manual. Usually the PCI slot next to the
motherboard shares an IRQ with the AGP slot. It is better not to put a
sound card there, for instance. If this slot is filled, see if you can
move the card there to a different slot and leave that one empty.
