Assigning IRQ's

My video card is very jerky and has been assigned a virtual irq of 16 and
according to the video card maker I need an irq of 15 or less and windows XP
Pro won't let me re-assign any IRQ's, can anyone help me? Thanks in
advance.

Since mine is assigned to 16, I have to ask what kind of video card you have
and if the manufacturer told you why it must be 15 or less.

If it's a PCI card then try placing it in a different slot

Try go back to the BIOS and check if this available or similar to the
following:
Assign an IRQ to VGA
Or
Allocate an Interrupt for Video.
