ASP. Net Machine ????

Hello...Since installing SP2 on XP, along with ATI catalist drivers for my
radeon card, I now have "another" user profile on my computer. This user has
been named ASP Net Machine with limited access. My problem isn't with having
another profile, BUT my problem IS with having to now pause on start-up and
click my name on the welcome screen to log onto windows. Could anyone give me
an idea why this "asp net" account is needed or more importantly...how to
skip the welcome screen log-on bull that I now have to do everytime????
Please help,any ideas would help.

The ASP .Net Machine is a system account. It was created when an update
installed the .NET Framework on your system. Microsoft programmed it to
create another account on your system to protect you from any malicious
Internet stuff.

Fortunately, there is a workaround to the problem of the other account.

1. Start up your computer as you normally do, and logon.
2. Go to Start > Run.
3. In the dialog box, type "control userpasswords2" (without the quotes)
3. Select the account you usually use (if you're not sure which one this is,
open the start menu and your user name should be displayed on the top)
4. Once the user name is selected, uncheck the box next to "Users must enter
a user name and password to use this computer"
5. Press apply and/or OK.
6. Restart your system.

Good luck,
