asp.net - after screensaver I get Welcome screen!

I've been reading the other messages regarding this user account, and
although I am not aware of having installed .net framework, I DID install
Autocad last night, when my problem started.

My problem isn't really a huge problem, but an annoyance. Now, after when I
return to my computer, and disable the screensaver (by moving mouse), I get
the Welcome screen and have to click on my User Account. I used to get my
desktop!

I tried tweak UI, but it doesn't seem to have helped. It made it worse
actually, because now I have to actually enter a password after clicking on
my user account.

Can anyone help me?

You can use the following steps to enable automatic logon:

1. Click Start, and then click Run.
2. In the Open box, type: control userpasswords2 , and then click OK.
3. In the dialog box that appears, clear the "Users must enter a user name
and password to use this computer" check box, and then click OK.

Thanks! That worked for booting up the computer. But not for the screensaver.
SO I went into the screensaver selector, and I never noticed this before, but
there is a box that says "On resume, display Welcome screen". It was checked,
so I unchecked it and problem solved. Somehow this got ticked without my
ticking it! Ah, the mystery of computers!

THanks again,
Donna
