ASP.NET Account

I have just upgraded to Win XP Pro and everything is working properly ,
straight after the upgrade I installed my printer which is a HP PSC 1610 all
in one printer , the installation went good , but after the installation I
find that I have a extra user account created by the name of ASP.NET Machine
A
( this never happened when I installed it on my Win 98 SE machine )

Can anybody tell me about what this HP printer has done to my machine , is
this ASP.Net account a local loop back account for the printer to work or is
it something else.

And can it be deleted without my OS or my printer spitting the dummy about
it ?

Thanks for the link.
The link is very informative and I now I understand why the ASP.NET account
was created.
Basically it appears to be a local loop back account to run a web server on
the local machine.
