as if I don't have enough problems - please look at this one

Microsoft comfort keyboard and the accompanying IntelliType Pro software.

I have this wireless desk top. The Shift key with another key is not
working.

I installed my old PS2 keyboard and it works ok?

Has anyone had this problem and do you know the fix?

I download the latest version of the software - no luck.

What a pain in the neck!!!!
 
Just figured it out.

The F Lock was on , which controls the Function key row.

I thought it was the Shift Key - but is was being used with F3. That is what
was not working. Now it does with Lock on

Oh well !!!

This seems to be one reason why the F-Lock seems to be disappearing from the
newer keyboard models.
