Arrow Ink Cartridges for Canon i860

I've seen much in the way of recommendation of this ink & cartridge,
but my own experience has been plain awful. The color performance &
cost are great, but there are so many other problems as to make these
cartridged worthless even if they are fee. All my problems are with
the BCI-3e type.

I've had constant problems with cartridges not feeding ink. Sometimes
cleaing & deep cleaning help, but often the cartridge simply ends up
in the trash. I've ended up having to pull the print head & clean
with solvent, but the problem returns. In addition, the printer never
detects that these are out of ink. I've ruined much paper by sending a
big job to the printer only to have it print with one tank completely
dry.

One by one, I've thrown away all Arrow Cartridges & replaced them with
Canon. Never again.

Bottom line, lots of wasted time, wasted photo paper & way too much
frustration.

I have the Canon S 820 and they don't work much better there either, and the
printer never detectd the out of ink because they are translucent instead of
clear like Canon
