Using Word 2000 on Windows 2000.
I have a series of figures (about 30 of them) that should always
start on the next available even-numbered page.
I inserted a Section Break/Even Page and that does, indeed, position
the graphic on a page with an even page number However, if I was on
an even page when I inserted the section break, it often skips the
odd-numbered page completely and just inserts the next
even-numbered, so the page numbering is missing numbers.
I know that I could manage this by simply inserting page breaks as
necessary, but as the document evolves, the pagination is thrown off
and figures that should start on even/left pages shift and start on
odd/right ones.
There's got to be something wrong with the way I'm using Section
Break/Even Page, but I can't find anything in the archives here or
in the knowledgebase. Any ideas?
