"are you sure you want to permanently delete all the items"

Are any items permanently deleted if instead of choosing the "Yes" or "No"
buttons, I respond by closing the dialog box showing the question 'Are you
sure you want to permanently delete all the items and subfolders in the
"Deleted Items" folder?'.
