Hello everyone,

Just wondering if there are any addons from microsoft or other sources that
i can enhance notepad or wordpad for xp sp2. I am looking for more text
formatting like in word. For example, in wordpad you get bullet style, I
would like to get numbering aswell. Or even have this type of functionality
in the regular notepad.

Thank you all for your answers.

Pop over to `alt.comp.freeware` and ask your question there Jeff. You`ll get
plenty of alternatives. They`re a great bunch, and it`s all Free.

Open Office (www.openoffice.org) is an entire office suite, including
full-function word processor, spreadsheet, presentation creator, etc.
It's free.

One could try:
http://www.abisource.com/

For a more complex word processor, but not near as complex as MS Word.
