Are the windows updates incompatible

The Windows updates available on the MS website, are they
causing some problems with the XP Home. Are they meant for
the XP pro. Only

Are you asking or telling us?

If you goto http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/ and scan for updates you
will ONLY be propmted to install updates needed for your OS.

I am a Tech. at HP and we face the problem with the
windows updates on XP home. But these updates work fine on
XP pro. Computer with XP Home runs very slow with these
updates. Once they are removed the computer works fine.
Any reasons why.

I am not a Technician as you are, but I can tell you the updates work fine
with Home or Pro on my computers (One with Home, one with Pro). Maybe its a
HP problem...
